MUMBAI: Mann Ki Pratigya 2 actor Ashish Kapoor has gone all out to confess his love for producer Pearl Grey. The two fell in love during the course of the show and are now engaged. They exchanged rings on July 12. Interestingly, the couple did give hints of being together; they have been posting loved-up pictures with each other, but without revealing their identities.
A source close to the couple has said, “Pearl and Ashish started dating some time ago and have been going strong since. They understand each other well and are very compatible. Both of them have a rather mature approach towards their relationship and life. They are tight-lipped about their engagement for now and plan to disclose details later.”
Pearl was earlier married to producer Rajan Shahi, and they have a daughter.

The couple went on a short vacation recently and got inked; they tattooed their engagement date – XII-IV-XX1 (12-4-21) on their backs. There’s more - they even got each other’s names tattooed on their wrists, too.

Ashish found his Miss Perfect after being single for a long time. While talking about matters of the heart in an interview earlier, he had said, “Acting was never really my first career option, because while growing up, I was an extremely shy kid. My parents sent me to grooming classes to help me overcome my shyness and stage fear. They wanted me to become confident. Once I started opening up in my classes, I began enjoying the whole process. I then took up some modeling and small acting assignments, and that’s when I realised that acting is something that I enjoy a lot and would want to explore opportunities.”
