Fahad Ali bags lead role in Shashi-Sumeet Productions' upcoming Sony TV show

Fahad Ali, the young sensation who stormed all hearts as KD in Channel V’s The Buddy Project will soon be back to entertain one and all!! Well, the young lad has now bagged the lead role in Shashi-Sumeet Productions’ upcoming show on Sony TV. Fahad will be paired opposite Zalak Desai (as reported earlier in media) in the lead role. For the uninitiated, Zalak was earlier seen in Shashi-Sumeet Productions’ Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai. As reported, the show also has Bobby Parvez playing the female lead’s father and Darshan Zariwala playing the male lead’s father. When contacted, Fahad told us, “I am busy right now. I will speak to you later.” We tried calling Producer Sumeet Mittal for a confirmation, but could not get through to him. Fahad has earlier done shows like Khotey Sikkey, Zindagi Kahe – Smile Please, Chhoti Si Zindagi and Balika Vadhu. However, it was the Channel V show that brought him into the spotlight.
