Feels like a blessing: Neha Pardeshi on being a part of Kaamdhenu Gaumata

MUMBAI: Neha Pardeshi who is currently playing the role of Radha in Kaamdhenu Gaumata, which is being produced by Prem Sagar and Shiv Sagar's Sagar World Multimedia, is happy to be associated with the show. She said, "It honestly feels like a blessing. Being part of Kaamdhenu Gaumata, a show that brings forward such a unique and unexplored story from Hindu mythology, is not just exciting as an actor but also deeply fulfilling on a personal level."

"We have all grown up hearing the popular stories from our scriptures, but this one is different. It brings light to characters and emotions that haven’t been shown much on screen before. To be able to introduce that to the audience and help people connect with a more divine, lesser-known aspect of our culture—it’s a huge responsibility but also a beautiful opportunity," she added.

The feeling is so surreal for her that she sometimes takes a pause to ponder that she is actually part of such a beautiful show. She added, "Also, I am working with absolute legends of mythological storytelling—Prem sir and Shiv sir. They have been dedicated to this genre for such a long time, and their understanding of these divine stories is truly unmatched."

"To be welcomed into their creative family feels incredibly special. It makes me so proud to be part of this world they have built with so much devotion and detail. I am genuinely grateful to both Prem Sir and Shiv Sir for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to step into this journey with them. I feel truly blessed," she added.

For Neha, playing Radha in the show is like a double blessing. She said, "I feel like I have not only stepped into a role but also into something sacred. A story that deserves to be told with love, grace, and truth."

She also mentioned that working on Kaamdhenu Gaumata changed her own spiritual beliefs. She said, "This show has definitely deepened my spiritual connection. I have always believed in Krishn and felt close to him, but working on Kaamdhenu Gaumata took that feeling to another level. When you are surrounded every day by such divine storytelling, mythological references, and such experienced creators like Prem sir and Shiv sir, who live and breathe these stories—it naturally starts to reflect inside you."

"I began understanding the deeper layers behind these characters—not just their stories, but their values, their emotions, and their silence. Playing Radha—especially her devotion, her surrender—is not something you can just act. You start to absorb it. And somewhere along the way, I realized I was not just performing for the camera—I was also quietly evolving within. This show didn’t just shape me as an actor. It touched something much deeper in me. And for that, I will always be grateful," she added.

She also confessed that playing a role in this series affected her personal perspective about the divine figure. She said, "Before working on this show, I knew about Kaamdhenu as a divine figure, a symbol of abundance and purity. But once I became a part of this story, I began to truly feel what she represents. Being surrounded by this energy every day—the visuals, the chants, the script, the message—it started shifting something inside me."

"I began to understand that abundance is not just about material things. It’s about love, peace, grace, and alignment. Playing Radha in a story like this made me more mindful of what I invite into my life—my thoughts, my energy, and my faith. I became more grateful and more trusting. It’s almost like the presence of Kaamdhenu and the world we were creating around her started flowing into my own mindset. And today, I can honestly say I don’t just know what abundance means—I have started to live it, in my own little way," she added.
Kaamdhenu Gaumata airs on Star Bharat every Monday to Friday at 9 PM.
