MUMBAI: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently completed seventeen years of entertaining the viewers. The show started off more than a decade ago and paved the way for many changed lives and many actors getting their due.
After portraying the character of Tappu for more than eight years, Bhavya Gandhi moved out of the show in 2017 for greener pastures. The actor recalled his thick bond with the cast of the show even after his exit from the same. He remembered his onscreen father Dilip Joshi's motivating words after the release of one of his movies.

In an interview, Bhavya recalled Dilip Joshi's words of wisdom wherein he also gave him his example. Recalling his conversation with Dilip Joshi, Bhavya said, "I remember speaking to Dilip sir around the time my second or third film had been released. We met at an event in Baroda, and I told him that while things were moving, the progress felt really slow.
He added, "He reassured me, saying, 'No issues, don’t stress. Before Taarak Mehta started, I too had no work for a year. This quiet phase—it's just the lull before the storm.'"
