Gaurav S Bajaj signed to play Meethi's love interest in Uttaran

Gaurav S Bajaj
Don’t get us wrong as we can’t help but churn out one exclusive news after another. Yes, we are flattering ourselves. Okay, enough. Let’s get on with the story. As you can read in the headline, smart and handsome Gaurav S Bajaj has been roped in to play an important role in FilmFarm Productions Uttaran airing on Colors. He was last seen in Star Plus' Sapno Se Bhare Naina. We have already written that the show is all set to take an 18-year leap which will air on 26 March 2012. Now, post leap, the serial will capture the journey of Tapasya’s (Rashmi Desai) and Ichcha’s (Tina Dutta) daughters, Mukta and Meethi respectively. Sreejita De will be seen as Mukta whereas Tina Dutta will play a double role and will be seen as Ichcha and her daughter, Meethi. Now, Gaurav has been signed to play Meethi’s love interest. He will be seen romancing Tina and aid to further spice up the plot of the soap. We tired contacting Gaurav and producer Rupali Guha of FilmFarm but they both remained unavailable. Other actors who have been brought in by the makers to charm audiences after the leap are Yashdeep Nain –will be playing a negative character – and Chaitanya Chaudhary. Though the leap sequence will air on 26 March, Gaurav’s entry is expected to hit the screens sometime later in the end of the month.
