MUMBAI: Pankaj Berry, a well-known face in the film and television industry, is seen portraying the role of an Income Tax officer named Chakra Narayan in the ongoing chapter of Sony Entertainment Television's much-admired show Mere Sai: Shraddha Aur Saburi.

Talking about his role Pankaj Berry shares, “My character Chakra Narayan, an Income Tax Officer with a lot of twists and turns in his life. He works with the government and is assigned to track down Sai and uncover the truth, but later discovers Sai's divinity via a series of events and the solution of his problems.”

Adding on to this, he said, “ I feel that having a lot of money is not the solution. We live in a materialistic world, but having an abundance of material possessions does not guarantee long-term fulfilment, that real sense of satisfaction and tranquilly is the cornerstone of a happy life.” 

Therefore, the urge for more, newer, better, fancier things appear to be an aspect of human nature for both rich and poor people. As a result, it is important to recognize and comprehend how the constant chase of worldly possessions can erode one's feeling of fulfilment.” 

In the current  track, Sai Baba will make an impact on the newly hired income tax officer who arrives in Shirdi to track the money Sai donates to his devotees. However, a series of events quickly persuade him of Sai's divinity.
