I felt like a real goddess while giving the look test for Namah: Shiva Gupta

MUMBAI: Having started her career with Star Plus show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Shiva Gupta  started her career doing cameo roles and episodic shows. 

Now seen in Namah as Devi Varuni, Shiva spoke at length about her love for the mythological genre and her character. 

She said, " I really love doing mythological genre so I was happy when I got chance to play Varuni. While giving the look test I felt like a real goddess. That divine feeling was there about the costumes, makeup and everything. Later when I started shooting for the same, I really enjoyed the character and the show itself. Varuni is the consort of Varuna, often depicted with her husband. She is goddess of wine. She came out of the samundra during the churning process. 

I love all the colors of character. But among all I would love to play a bubbly character primarily and brave girl secondarily."
