Where are you from and what inspired you to be a producer?

I am Pratyush upadhyay. I did my MBA from Pune University 10 years ago and was placed with world’s leading MNC into Research & Branding based in Mumbai. Movies have always been my passion. I quit my well settled job and started a digital marketing company and a film production house to make really exciting movies, web series and music videos. I have always admired different kinds of cinema so I thought of producing content

What all have you produced?

I have produced more than 15 music videos for different platforms like Tseries, Zee Music, Times Music, Ultra Bollywood, Venus Music and our own channel, Innocent Virus Films.  Apart from this, I have produced many short films, documentaries and 2 webseries .  These web series are going to be released this year on OTT platforms. Both of these webseries are horror thriller with unique story line up.

Tell us about your latest projects?

We have announced 2 feature films this year which will be shot from the month of August. It got delayed because of lockdown as most of the casting is done along with pre production. One movie is thriller based on this latest issue: Corona Virus. Our movie will reflect the other side of this pandemic ; mystery behind this virus. This is not that simple as it looks. There is a complete theory behind this virus which has taken the whole world under its horrifying grip. So we are going to unearth the mystery . The second film is a horror comedy where a ghost is returned from its grave to find its killer and an innocent guy gets compelled by the ghost to find its killer.

What's next?

Apart from these films we are launching our own OTT app for digital content. We are going to launch it in the month of July. Name of this app is MOM ( movies on mobile)  One thing I can say, this app will not be like any other app, this is going to have features which no other app has offfered so far. We are going to reveal these at its launch. Apart from this,  we are going to have a separate section for upcoming talented film makers where they can showcase their film making skils and we can give their creativity a platform where whole world can watch these kinds of special content. We are soon to tie up with a TV channel for kids animation stories where we will be making content for kids where they can learn too by watching these entertaining animated stories.

What do you aspire for five years from now?

I am an entrepreneur and passionate film maker so I see my self after 5 years running my film production house successfully with lot of good creative films and content which really leave marks and move the audience. I want to make a name for myself in the list of good content makers.

Way to go Pratyush!
