Indrani Haldar and Ridhi Dogra all set for yet another on-screen bonding in Life OK's Savitri

Versatile actress Indrani Haldar and Ridhi Dogra exhibited a beautiful on-screen bonding in Star Plus’ family drama Maryada Lekin Kab Tak? And now the duo will soon share screen space yet again in Life OK’s upcoming show, Savitri which is produced by Flying Turtle Films (Shabbir Ahluwalia, Saket Sawhney and Anil V Kumar). Yes, you heard it right!! Indrani Haldar has been roped in to essay the enterprising mother of the male lead, Yash Pandit. However, unlike her docile character in Maryada, Indrani will essay the role of Leena Roy Choudhary, a confident woman who heads her company. She is a very outgoing, modern lady who is the ‘voice’ of the house. When contacted, Indrani confirmed the news and told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, you heard it right! I am part of the cast of Savitri. Ridhi and I share a cute off-screen bonding and it will be nice to work with her again. Even in Savitri, our on-screen relationship will be similar as I play the male lead’s mother. However, there is a vast difference in the way my character has been presented.” As reported by Tellychakkar.com, the unit of Savitri will be shooting for an extensive schedule in Kolkata. Confirming this Indrani told us, “Yes, I am already in Kolkata and we start shoot towards the end of this month (January 2013). The show is all about a Bengali family and hence the need to shoot in the City of Joy.” We also tried talking to Ridhi, but she asked us to call her later. We would soon get her update on sharing screen space with Indrani. Here’s hoping that the two talented actors Ridhi and Indrani cast their magical spell on viewers yet again…
