IPL pushes Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka 2; Manoj Kumar may figure in new season

TellyChakkar had earlier reported about the second season of Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka to go on air this month but now the show is postponed due to the IPL which starts next month. The second season is now expected to return sometime in April. The show which unraveled past life secrets was a big hit with viewers and got very good TRPs too. Ravi Kissen will be hosting the second season as well. With the show now postponed, he will begin shooting in the first week of April. The format will remain the same though in the second season the show is looking at getting more and more celebrities and most of them are veteran actors from Bollywood. There will be very few common people. A source informs, "This time the makers want famous veteran actors from Bollywood because their past life secrets could be more interesting. Manoj Kumar, Rajesh Khanna and a few others have been approached. Manoj Kumar has almost confirmed his participation." The source adds, "There are many actors from the current lot too who have been approached as well as a few sports personalities but the names are not yet known. The first season has done very well and the second season is expected to do better because of the celebrity quotient." The second season will again have 20 episodes and about 10 new episodes from the first season will be added too. Some of the episodes which were shot for the first season were preserved for the second season because they were very interesting. Rahul Mahajan, Karishma Kapoor, Neelima Azim are few of the names who shot for the first season, but their episodes will be aired in the second season. Manoj Kumar and Rajesh Khanna remained unavailable for comments. NDTV Imagine's programming head Shailja Kejriwal too remained unavailable for comment.
