MUMBAI: TellyChakkar had exclusively reported on Bollywood actor Nikhil Dwivedi launching his big-budget mythological show Shrimad Bhagavad. Initially, the show was to air on Star Plus but will now air on Colors.
Shrimad Bhagavad will likely be a 52-episode series and would air on Sunday for an hour. The show will unveil the post-Mahabharat story.
We have now learned that Ishita Ganguly of Shastri Sisters fame and talented actor Indraneil Sengupta have been roped for the show.
According to our sources, Ishita is in talks for the character of Goddess Parvati and Indraneil has been finalized to depict Lord Shiva.
When we contacted Indraneil, he confirmed the news.
Ishita remained unavailable to comment.
