The channel will soon launch a new presentation titled Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile.
Conceptualized and created by Sonnal A Kakar and produced by Goldie Behl and Sonnal A Kakar under Rose Audio Visuals Pvt. Ltd. Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile is not your typical love story. The show delves into the collision of old-world traditions with the progressive values of today’s generation, setting up an intense emotional rollercoaster.
Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile features Ayushi Khurana, Bharat Ahlawwat, Rohit Dhiman and Sehaj Rajput in leading roles along with Jayati Bhatia.
TellyChakkar engaged in an exclusive conversation with Ayushi who shared her experience shooting for the show.
She shared, “I was extremely excited when I heard the story and was eager to be a part of the show. To top it up, one gets to do something different every day so that is like an added bonus. The way we have shot is also beautiful so it is going very well.”
Ayushi added, “My character is about an investigative journalist named Reet and is a kind of person who wants to find out the truth. She loves her family and her brother alot and can do anything for him. She is also very loving and caring along with being fearless.”
For the uninitiated, the show narrates a tale of Reet, a reporter from a middle-class family in Gwalior who is fiercely independent and witty. She has frequently been at the forefront of opposing unnecessary social conventions, raising issues with outdated ideas with her voice.
The attractive passionate man-child Raghav, who has a wounded spirit hidden behind a harsh appearance owns a prosperous construction company and lavishes his younger sister Unnati with presents. Even though Raghav opposes long-standing customs, a series of events compels him to put his sister's happiness ahead of his own convictions. He accepts the aata saata custom, which he would have otherwise disapproved of, in order to ensure her future. Raghav maintains that Reet must wed his brother Dhruv in order for his sister Unnati to wed him. The show introduces two modern, headstrong protagonists—Reet and Raghav, where Reet makes a startling choice to marry not for love, but as a ‘guarantee’ for her sibling's happiness.
