Shweta Tiwari wants to see Karanvir Bohra as 'Big Boss' winner

Ahead of the Bigg Boss 12 finale, television actress and former Bigg Boss winner Shweta Tiwari has urged audience to shower their love upon actor Karanvir Bohra, who is currently inside the Bigg Boss 12 house as a contestant.

Like a good friend, she requested voters to show their support towards Karanvir and make him "return as a winner".

"KV (Karanvir)...! He use to always tell me 'mommy' , the best part about life is every morning you have a new opportunity to become a happier version of yourself! And he proved this in Big Boss house..! KV my Baby ... You have made me immensely proud since the day I have met you and especially since the time you have entered Big Boss.

"Please everyone show your love and support to this amazing person and let him return as a Winner," the Kasautii Zindagii Kay fame actress wrote on Instagram.

Shubhangi Atre turns Santa for female workers

Television actress Shubhangi Atre visited a few working women in Mumbai on Monday and surprised them with Christmas gifts.

Happy on being a Santa Claus for the ladies, Shubhangi said in a statement, "Being a women, I understand how much we are committed to our duties to keep our family healthy and happy. Nowadays, we get no time to think about ourselves. So this Christmas, I planned my Monday early morning to visit those working women and surprise them with some gifts and breakfast.

"It was really special for me too. I feel blessed to turn 'Santa Claus' for them."

The Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! actress also shared how she celebrates Christmas with her daughter every year.

She said, "Me and my daughter love the festival and wait for our Santa Claus every year. We make a wishing bowl, in which we drop a letter folded with our wishes written on it. And from mid December, we start prepping for the festival."

Found a new family on sets of 'Aladdin...': Gulfam Khan

Actress Gulfam Khan, who is currently playing the role of Nazneen in the television show Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga, says she has found a new family on the set.

"I'm happy and blessed to find a family on my set. I have known these beautiful people for a long time but the show has given me an opportunity to spend good time with them... My favourites clearly are the three kids in the show Avneet, Siddharth and Vikas.

"My co-actor Smita Bansal is also a dear friend of mine. I have known her for past decade but we have just bonded very well on this show."

Gulfam has earlier appeared in TV shows like Laado 2 and Naamkarann.

Karishma Tanna gets birthday bumps from her gang

Karishma Tanna, the Naagrani Roohi from the popular series Naagin 3, celebrated her 35th birthday on 21st December. She wanted to stay at home but her friends had some other plans for her and the pictures and the videos are a proof of it. Ekta Kapoor, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Pearl V Puri, Anita Hassanandani, Sharad Kelkar, Dino Morea, Krystle D'souza, Aamir Ali, Sanjeeda Shaikh and many others were the noisemakers in her house. Karishma, while talking to a leading publication, said that due to her birthday celebration she could have a party before Christmas.

This 'Nimki Mukhiya’ actor gets engaged to Anusha Dandekar's sister

TV actress Bhumika Gurung recently had a roka ceremony, and the actress will be getting engaged soon to her beau Amit Singh Gosain. Lalit Dalmia shoots celeb calendar for Pehla Kadam

Lalit Dalmia and Nivedita Basu’s Pehla Kadam, an initiative which works for the welfare of women and the girl child, shot a celebrity calendar to support the cause. Many TV actors posed for the calendar shoot, wearing Lalit’s incredible and beautiful designs. “Pehla Kadam is all about supporting girl child education and working towards women empowerment. So, I thought it would be great to choose young TV artists who can understand and support the cause as well as raise awareness amongst the masses and walk with pride in my haute couture Seven Sin collection,” says Lalit.

The designer has had quite an eventful journey and says that he has learned a lot along the way. “I came to Delhi in 2004 to take the first step towards turning my dreams into reality. I attained the knowledge of fashion from a fashion school. Soon after receiving this knowledge, I stepped into Banaras to learn and understand the Gaatha work of handloom. I also went to Calcutta to gain the deep-rooted knowledge of traditional hand-work,” he says, adding, “We launched our first store in Pitampura, Delhi in the year 2009. We also organized an exhibition in a whole new way. The exhibition was an epitome of trendsetting collections where my outstanding and new versions of designs were presented by gorgeous models. This was the turning point for me when my work and ideas won the hearts of many. My journey of famous fashion shows started after this which landed me in the hearts and minds of many famous celebrities.”

However, his future has him linked to working for women empowerment. “In the future, I want to work on my brand Lalit Dalmia and take it to newer heights by building my brand’s presence all over the country. Also, I want to give back to society and contribute for girl and women empowerment in our country through Pehla Kadam,” he says.
