MUMBAI: Kaakbhushandi Ramayan that promises to take the audience to a great nostalgic ride along with exploring some untold stories from our ancient saga has already aired on television yesterday. The first episode  witnessed the battle between Lord Ram's vanar (monkey) army and Lankesh Ravan's demon army rages on. Amidst the fierce conflict, a colossal demon from the netherworld, Virochak, enters the battlefield from Ravan's side, wreaking havoc among the vanaras. Panic spreads among the vanaras as they pray for deliverance. In response, Hanuman arrives and takes a massive form, carrying Lord Ram and Lakshman on his shoulders, confronting Virochak. Together, Lord Ram and Lakshman slay Virochak. From the peaks of Lanka, Malyavan observes the battle and, upon witnessing Virochak's defeat, rushes to inform Ravan. At that time, Ravan is seen in his ten-headed form worshiping Goddess Nikumbhila. When Ravan receives the news of the battle, he prepares to go to the battlefield himself. However, Malyavan advises him that there is no need for him to join the battle as long as his son Meghnad is present. Meghnad then ascends to the sky on his mystical chariot and challenges Lord Ram and Lakshman from above.

Today’s episode is engaging and will keep the audiences completely hooked. The episode showcases Meghnad, with his illusionary warfare, bewilders the vanar army. Lakshman shoots arrows at Meghnad, but they fail to strike him. Hanuman declares that he will ascend into the sky and destroy both Meghnad and his illusions, but Lakshman stops him, saying, "Meghnad has challenged the Suryavanshis, and thus, I must be the one to slay him." Meanwhile, Meghnad, with the assistance of Nagmata Kadru, invokes serpents into his Nagastra and declares to Lord Ram and Lakshman, "There is no counter to this Nagastra in the world. It will ensnare you in its coils, and the venomous serpents within it will bring about your end." Vibhishan warns them, saying, "Be cautious, Meghnad is about to unleash the deadly Nagastra." Ultimately, Meghnad releases the Nagastra, which binds Lord Ram and Lakshman in its coils, causing them to fall to the ground unconscious. Seeing this, Hanuman brings Garuda to counter the Nagastra. However, upon seeing Lord Ram and Lakshman lying unconscious on the ground like ordinary humans, Garuda is filled with doubt, thinking, *"These lying here, unconscious like mortals, cannot be my Lord Ram."
