In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar.com, Indira Krishnan spoke about reuniting with Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki fame Sakshi Tanwar and bonding with her over the years.

MUMBAI: Actress Indira Krishnan, who is currently shooting for her upcoming show Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey, welcomed Ganeshotsav with great devotion at her home. The celebrations turned grand with several well-known personalities, including Sakshi Tanwar, Rajan Shahi, Nandish Sandhu, and prominent politicians, visiting her residence to seek Bappa’s blessings.

The festival also became extra special for Indira as it marked her reunion with her Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii co-star Sakshi Tanwar, who is still fondly remembered for her iconic portrayal of Parvati Agarwal in Ekta Kapoor’s show. Indira, in the same project, had essayed the role of Anjana Harpreet Gill.

Sharing her joy, Indira exclusively told TellyChakkar, “This is the time of the year when we can pause our busy schedules, dedicate ourselves to the Lord, and express gratitude for the growth and achievements we’ve received. I’m a spiritual person, and I wholeheartedly enjoy hosting Bappa with all my energy and love. What makes this festival even more special is having my friends and family over to seek blessings. Meeting them always brings back wonderful memories from our shoots and past experiences.”

Speaking about her bond with Sakshi, she added, “She’s beautiful inside and out. Meeting her is always a delight. Over the years, we’ve cherished our bond and have always stood by each other.”

On the significance of the festival, Indira expressed, “Welcoming Bappa into my home fills me with delight and gratitude. Ganesh Chaturthi, celebrated as Lord Vinayaka’s birthday, is a vibrant and meaningful festival dedicated to the God of wisdom, prosperity, and new beginnings. It not only connects us spiritually but also strengthens community ties through devotion, joy, and togetherness. The rituals, traditions, and cultural roots make this festival deeply cherished.”

On the professional front, Indira is gearing up for her role in the upcoming Bollywood magnum opus Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor. She was last seen in Animal and has also been part of popular TV shows like Durga, Saavi Ki Savaari, and Yeh Hai Chahatein, among others.
