MUMBAI: TellyChakkar recently reported about director Rajesh Ram Singh, who has directed shows like Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, and Kesari Nandan, Chandrashekhar, turning producer with Colors’ upcoming channel under his banner named Cockcrow Productions. He is co-producing the project along with Shaika Films’ Pradeep Kumar, who has last produced Meri Durga on Star Plus.
Rajesh and Pradeep are also bringing a show on &TV. It is a love story between a poor boy and a rich girl.
Initially, the makers had locked Mayavi Maling actress Neha Solanki as the female lead. However, as per latest developments, Pranali Singh Rathod has bagged the show as the female protagonist. The actress is making her debut on the small screen with this show.
Our sources inform us that TV actor Kinshuk Vaidya of Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka fame, who was last seen in Karn Sangini, is in talks to play the male lead in the show.
We buzzed Kinshuk, but he remained unavailable for comment.
