MUMBAI: The episode begins with Sahana telling Aryan that Prachi's ego is too big. Aryan also goads Ranbir's ego and fights for him with Sahana. Aryan says that he wanted to patch Prachi and Ranbir's friendship but with Sahana, that won't happen. Prachi snatches the phone and apologises to Ranbir for speaking in a bad manner. Ranbir accepts her apology when Rhea walks past and notices him. Ranbir immediately shuts the phone and lies to her. He feels guilty for hiding details about speaking with Prachi from Rhea. Pallavi brings a set of sarees in front of Beeji and asks to choose a saree for her.
Vikram notices this and tries to explain to her that she should choose for herself and not rely on the mother-in-law for everything. It backfires and they both yell at Vikram instead. Ranbir is thoroughly happy with the way they have behaved with Vikram. He and Ranbir then place a bet that Pallavi and Beeji won't fight. Everybody arrives for the Diwali party looking fabulous. All the women gather around Abhi and tease him with Meera but he somehow handles the situation.
Abhi then finds the men, who are chilling in the terrace. Purab asks Abhi why he is so worried when he says how everybody was teasing him with Meera. Vikram and Purab start badmouthing about their wives when Ranbir and Aryan decide to go down and tell their mums the truth. They somehow handle the boys and explain how it is important to keep people happy. The boys then head down for the Diwali party. Pragya walks in with diyas to decorate the house when Sahana starts swooning over her. Prachi also admits that Pragya looks beautiful and like a celebrity.
They are about to leave for the party when Madhu spills oil on her blouse. Pragya asks everyone else to leave before her. Rhea and Priyanka are wondering why Prachi hasn't arrived yet for the party. Dasi comes over and asks Rhea to escort her upstairs. Priyanka tries to keep Rhea busy but she decides to go with Dasi. As they are talking, Dasi asks Rhea if she is dating someone. But Rhea says that she doesn't have anyone in her life.
