MUMBAI: SUN Bangla’s Asha-Lata is up for high-voltage drama. The upcoming episodes of the Bengali soap are set to unfold a lot of twists and turns.
The loyal audience of the show knows the circumstances under which Lata had to marry Dhruba. Now, her marriage throws certain challenges in her life.
When TellyChakkar got in touch with Shobhana Biswas, who plays the role of Lata in the show, to know about the same, she said, 'On the one hand, there is a misunderstanding between Asha and Lata, as Asha left the house without informing anything to anyone. On the other hand, Dhruba loved Asha not Lata. He had treated Lata as a friend, but now, she is his wife. So, now, Lata’s challenge is to earn the love of Dhruba.'
'There is another challenge. Lata wants to establish herself as a singer. I am excited about the upcoming episodes, as we are getting to do something new every day,' she added.
This was the first time that Shobhana got married on screen. When asked about the experience, she said, 'Even though it was a fake wedding, it was fun to marry on screen.'
Shobhana has earlier played the second lead in Zee Bangla’s Rangiye Diye Jao.
