Actor Latesh Sharma who recently essayed the role of a zombie for Life OK’s Shapath will get into the avatar of a mentally challenged guy for an episodic of Life OK’s Savdhan India.
Produced by Keylight Productions, the story will revolve around the mentally challenged guy who would be taken care of by his brother and sister-in-law. The manner in which his live would change with the entry of a girl will form the crux of the story.
Latesh who simply loves doing episodics, mainly for the varied range of characters one gets to portray had a whale of a time shooting for this character. He even prepared for the role by seeing the popular movie, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape in which Leonardo DiCaprio came up with a splendid performance of a mentally challenged.
When contacted, Latesh who has done movies like Main Tera Hero, Tequila Nights told us, “It was a tough challenge to play such a character. But given the way stories of Savdhan India are shot, I got a free hand from the team to portray the character. And I enjoyed being part of Savdhan.”
The story will be aired tonight (5 August) on Savdhan India.
