MUMBAI: Lovekesh Solanki has appeared in several television shows, including Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, and others, and has disclosed that he was scammed when he first started in the industry. Showtime was where we had last seen it. In an interview with the popular news portal, Lovekesh Solanki revealed something startling about the sector.
Lovekesh Solanki reveals, “When I first entered the industry, I was new and eager to succeed as an actor. I didn't know how things work in the industry, and I was desperate to get started. At the same time, I met some scammers who took advantage of my vulnerability. They promised me guaranteed auditions and acting opportunities, but only if I pay them.”
The actor also acknowledged that he paid money to several scammers, which was a mistake. Lovekesh remembers the event and says, “Their tactics were deceptive - they introduced me to fake directors and producers who were part of the scam. They gained my trust by pretending to care about my acting career. Unfortunately, I paid some of these agents, thinking they would keep their promises. But they didn't. I later realized I had been tricked, and it was all a scam.”
“However, I chose to view it as a valuable learning experience. I became more cautious and discerning, and I didn't let the experience hold me back from pursuing my acting dreams. Instead, I used it as a lesson and experience to towards my success,” Lovekesh Solanki concludes.
Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Shriya Saran, Mouni Roy, and other notable actors are featured in important parts in Lovekesh Solanki's most recent web series, Showtime.
