In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar Samidha spilled beans on receiving hatred for playing negative roles and her contribution to the density of her character as an artist.

Samidha shared, “If I am playing a negative character and I am hated, I think it is a good thing. That means I am justifying my character. I get a lot of hatred for my role and if they hate me that is because they relate to my character. It is a good thing and I only feel blessed to get an opportunity to play the role so convincingly.”

Speaking about her contribution to Maati Se Bandhi Dor, Samidha avers, “I have been working  from a long time in Marathi shows and me being a part of Hindi serial gives me an opportunity to add those subtle nuances of Maharashtrian culture. There are certain things which are done according to Maharashtrian culture so I tell them about the minute details which can be added.”

Well said Samidha!
