Munisha quits Vaidehi, bags a new show

Munisha Khatwani who was supposed to create quite a stir with her vicious moves as Mallishka in Sony' Vaidehi, will no longer be a part of the show. Reason being - "The script is being retouched and thus my character will witness a graceful exit," clarifies the petite and effervescing actor. But a new door has opened for her in the form of a DD 1 show, Raaz Ki Ek Baat by Contiloe Films, slotted at 10 pm. She is the latest entrant in the soap and interestingly her character name happens to be Manisha. She was upbeat about the new character and shared a few thoughts with us. According to the actor, "Manisha is a con-woman who starts on a positive note but eventually reveals her darker side. Her only obsession is to usurp the family property." Munisha was overwhelmed on the first day of shoot when she was mobbed by the crowd after they came to know about her Tarot reading skills. And what genre does she enjoy the most? "Well, it is definitely comedy. I have always loved the comic characters that I have essayed, somehow I relate to them more since I am a very fun loving person" The buzz is that Munisha would be featuring in the Sab TV comic caper Ji Behenji and will be essaying an important character. The details are being worked out. With a bagful of roles to boast about, this actor is surely creating a niche for herself. Well, not a surprise Munisha!.
