My contract for Shapath ends in July; after that I will take a call to stay on or not – Aamir Dalvi

Aamir Dalvi
Aamir Dalvi who is known for essaying challenging roles on television is satisfied with his journey as Senior Inspector Kavi in Life OK’s Hum Ne Li Hai... Shapath (Fireworks Productions). The actor who has always loved pacey adventure being a biker himself, enjoys doing his stunts on the show. Talking about it, Aamir told Tellychakkar.com, “I have had a satisfying journey being part of Shapath. The best part of it is that I am creatively satisfied and this pleases the actor in me. As an actor, we always go through the rigorous shoot schedules, and face situations wherein we need to shoot under not-so-great conditions. But that is part and parcel of being an actor.” Aamir went on to state, “I usually love shooting for my stunt sequences. But the conditions in which the acts are organized in Indian industry is very miniscule when compared to Hollywood. Though we are given safety measures, we do fall short at times and end up injuring ourselves. I have had severe knee injuries twice while shooting for Shapath. When we tend to have an injury, it bogs us down and our health goes for a toss. I have now stopped doing my stunts for Shapath.” On his future plans, Aamir confided in us, “My contract for Shapath ends in July (2013). And I will wait and see if the production house wants to renew my contract. There are quite a lot of offers coming, but I will be able to take an appropriate decision on my next project only by August 2013.” Aamir, we wish you all the very best for your future.
