Nikkhil is in Swarg

Nikkhil Chaddha the new kid in the block is moving up the career ladder pretty fast. Discoverd by none other then the hottest producer in town today -- Rajan Shahi. Nikkhil is playing the character of Arjun in Maat Pita Ke Charnon Mein Swarg. Born in Mumbai and brought up in Delhi, the young lad always wanted to be an actor and moved back to Mumbai after completing college. "For the last three years I have been modelling for various brands like ICICI, Kingfisher and Pantaloons. Recently I also shot two new commercials for Gillete," says the actor who worked as a cabin crew in Jet Airways for a brief period of time. He also did some street plays on Jesica Lal and HIV before joining television. Nikkhil stays with his mom in Mumbai. How did he get the opportunity to do Rajan Shahi's show? "I got a call from the producer's office and they asked me to come down for an audition. It was a normal audition and by the grace of God I was selected," says the happy- go- lucky actor who is very fond of his parents and brothers. "I am cherishing every moment of my life now. I am learning a lot from veterans like Yatin Karyekar and Amardeep Jha. The whole team is very professional and despite being a newcomer, I was never made to feel like one. Rajan Shahi is an absolute gem of a person," says Nikkhil who used to be a movie buff earlier and has shifted loyalties to the small screen now. "I only watch television these days!" Nikkhils's entry in the show will happen in couple of weeks.
