Post-marriage, will Anjum Farooki get back to acting?

There have been reports that Anjum Farooki aka Gauri of Colors’ Balika Vadhu is quitting the show to start a new life. Well, the actress is getting married sometime in December this year. Anjum got engaged to merchant navy officer Saqib Sayed on 4 February this year. Since the couple will be taking their nuptial vows sometime in the last month of the year, the actress is planning to give sometime to her married life post her marriage, says a source. Our source further adds, "Anjum isn’t sure if she would get back to acting post her marriage." However the actress tells us, “I never planned to become an actor, it just happened. Similarly, I am not planning anything right now. I like going with the flow, so I hope things will happen when they have to. As of now I am doing Balika Vadhu.” While the nikah ceremony has been confirmed, dates of the following ceremonies have yet to be finalized. In fact, Anjum has not even started shopping for her D-day. Furthermore, though this is an arranged marriage, Anjum is very much in love, as she says, “I am very happy with Saqib.” A Mumbai resident Saqib, who usually travels around the globe, got back sometimes this month. And if sources are to be believed, he will be leaving once again in September to get back just before the wedding ceremony. We wish Anjum the best of luck for her future.
