Pratyusha's mom's emotional goodbye to her daughter

It is said that a mother-daughter relationship is always special. So was Soma Banerjee's with her daughter, late actress Pratyusha Banerjee. The mom, who wished to see her as a bride, had to bid goodbye to her daughter of 24 due to untimely death. It was indeed a heart wrenching moment for the onlookers to witness Pratyusha's mother bidding a final goodbye to her daughter. While Pratyusha's father broke down into tears, it was her mother's grief, which brought tears to everyone's eyes present in the cremation hall. The noble mother, who raised daughter to be such a gallant and noble lady, was cursing herself for not being able to understand her pain. She kept on saying to producer Vikas Gupta, "Amra bodhhoy bhalo ma baba noi, bujhte parini oke (Perhaps we were not good enough as parents, that we couldn't understand she was going through so much pain)." Her last request to her daughter remained unfulfilled as she continued to plead her with a song to not go away from their life. With teary eyes and shivering tone she kept on singing Farida Khanum's song Aaj jaane ki zid na karo pleading Pratyusha to come back. RIP Pratyusha. #prayforpratusha
