MUMBAI: Zee TV is gearing up to launch its new show Lakshmi Niwas, produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms. The promos are already out, and viewers are eagerly awaiting its premiere.
The show will feature Priom Gujjar in the lead role. Lakshmi Niwas is the Hindi adaptation of the popular Kannada drama Lakshmi Nivasa. In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar.com, Priom opened up about bagging the project, his character, and much more.

Talking about his role in Lakshmi Niwas, Priom shared, “I am playing the character of Raj Bundela, the lead of the show. Raj is slightly psychotic with an undercurrent of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). He is also a perfectionist who loves his wife deeply. He always tries to mend ways, keep the romance alive, and stands up for her whenever needed. He is truly a green-flag husband.”
He further added, “In the Kannada version of the show, the character I’m playing is named Jayant, and I’ve been closely following the show to understand the nuances of that role. I really admire the way it has been written and executed. While I was auditioning and giving mock shoots for Raj Bundela, I found myself manifesting the role because I had already grown attached to it.”
