MUMBAI: Actor Prince Dhiman, who has been seen in Qubool Hai 2.0, Garud, Parshuram and Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya Shiv Shakti, says that a well-balanced diet is essential for staying healthy. He also adds that a high protein diet always helps him out.
“Nutrition plays a vital role in overall health and well being. For me, a well-balanced diet is necessary for a healthier and happy life. Proper nutrition provides for necessary fuel required for growth repair and recovery. I stay on a high protein diet and calculate calories to maintain my proper physique . Sugar and salt intake is very controlled. I usually eat 3..4 meals. Proper workout and adequate rest. Being disciplined and consistent is the key to stay top in the game,” he says, adding, “Well not till now .but I think it’s essential to prioritise your health and well being if I have to go under changes for a role it will be well planned and with patience and consistency.”
However, he is very strict when it comes to staying fit, be it workout or diet. “Sometimes it's not easy to get time to workout . And I cannot survive if I don’t workout so I try to take out whatever time I get to hit the gym and I am very strict about my diet . So I carry my diet. These small struggles add up over time and lead to big results,” he says.
Meanwhile, he says that not just public figures, everyone should be promoting healthy living. “It’s everybody's responsibility, not just actors or influencers. Healthy living and nutrition go hand in hand. Their changes can be numerous and transformative. For example physical changes, mental and emotional changes, health related changes. So yes, a healthy lifestyle should be prompted. It can change your vision of how you see life,” he says.
