Balaji Telefilms’ Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani is going off air tomorrow 15 December 2011 and the ardent fans of the show are mourning. And the actors associated with the show are touched by the response they have been receiving. Below they share their thoughts about the vampire saga. Sukirti Kandpal, who essays the role of Pia Dobriyal, in the show feels that being a part of the show, is nothing less than a complement. “This show has taken us all to a new height; we will miss each other a lot and hope to work with each other in the future as well. The show is going off air but something new will definitely come up for our fans,” she says. For Vahbbiz Dorabjee (Panchi) it’s an emotional moment: “I am happy for the fact that show is going off air with dignity after gaining immerse popularity. Even our fans are also very upset with this, but one has to move on, but we will miss our fans like anything.” Priya Wal thinks the show has been a mad journey for her. “Playing Misha has been a fantastic experience; moreover, I had such wonderful co-actors. I will miss all of them,” says Priya. The daddy vampire Naved Aslam (Chand Raichand) has a different opinion. He says, “I will miss this vampire concept very much. But most importantly, I will miss calling the name Haseena, my on-screen wife’s name (Laughs). In fact, it feels proud to see that people are loving the show so much.” And Kishwar Merchant (Haseena Raichand) says the whole cast is very emotional now that the show will go off-air. “Everyone is sending emotional messages to each other. So we decided to party for the whole of last night. I do feel the pain with the show going off air, but one has to move on.”
