Ruma Sharma 'happy' to play 'sakhi' to Deblina in Siya Ke Ram

Actress Ruma Sharma is slowly but steadily gaining a foothold in the TV space!! The girl who was first noticed for her portrayal of Riddhima in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, has now gotten herself a very important role in Star Plus’ Siya Ke Ram. Ruma will be seen essaying the very close friend and confidante of Roma, the character played by Deblina Chatterjee. As reported by us, Deblina will play the love interest of Sugreev, and their love story will be in focus right now. Ruma’s character, we hear will be pivotal to the love story, and will help Roma in getting married to Sugreev. When contacted, Ruma who started her acting career at a very young age of 19 told us, “Yes, having done episodics for quite some time, I am now getting good roles in the fiction space too. After Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan and Kaala Teeka, this will be my next. This is a very interesting role, and my character’s bonding with Roma has been depicted very nicely.” Ruma has also shot for the movie M.A. Pass recently, and the movie is expected to release soon.
