S S Ali and Vinita Joshi to feature in Yeh Hai Aashiqui

S S Ali and Vinita Joshi
This Friday’s episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions on Disney Bindass will see a unique love tale featuring S S Ali and Vinita Joshi Thakkar. Ali was earlier seen in a small role in Dil Dostii Dance, and has also been part of Humse Hai Liife wherein he essayed the comic character of Nikka Bro. Vinita as we know, got her first big break in Saraswatichandra post which she bagged the lead role in Baawre on Life OK. The story will revolve around Neil (Ali), a rather studious and introvert guy who would crave to have some kind of adventure in life. And his dream will come true when he along with his friends would spot their new neighbour girl Yashika, played by Vinita. The girl who would have a bad past, that of being an escort would be the centre of attraction to the boys. On knowing about Yashika’s past, Neil’s friends would then instigate Neil to get close to Yashika and enjoy bed life. However, the twist in the tale will be that Neil will end up falling in love with the girl. Whether their love tale would end in them uniting or not, will be for the viewers to see. When contacted, S.S. Ali said, “Well, Palki Malhotra was the one who brought me into the world of television with Dil Dostii Dance. And now it has been my honour to work with her again. I had a fabulous experience shooting for the episodic. I have always loved watching Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and to shoot for an episodic was a great feeling. This role was challenging as it was completely opposite of what I am in real life. I am a total extrovert, while this role is of an introvert. The character is that of a gold medallist while I have not been good in studies. I will not be able to talk about the story though.” Vinita told us, “I have been asked not to speak about this episodic. Hence I will prefer to keep silent. I can very well talk after its airing.” This particular episodic will go on air this Friday 12 September.
