MUMBAI : This Diwali was an emotional time for actress Geetanjali Mishra, known for playing Rajesh in Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli's show Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. Instead of celebrating the festival with lights and joy, Geetanjali spent her time at the hospital, staying by her mother’s side after she was unexpectedly admitted. The usual festive cheer felt incomplete without her mother at home, and Geetanjali’s heart was focused entirely on her recovery.

With her birthday just around the corner, Geetanjali’s only wish was for her mother to be healthy and back home. On social media, she shared her thoughts and emotions, hoping for her mother’s speedy recovery. She never imagined the gift she was about to receive—a moment that turned her birthday into one of the most meaningful days of her life.

Reflecting on her journey, Geetanjali shared, “This Diwali was very emotional for me. While others celebrated with lights and laughter, I was at the hospital, praying for my mother’s health. Diwali has always meant family, love, and togetherness for me, but without her, the house felt empty, no matter how festive it looked. Spending each day with her reminded me of how precious life is and how we often take our loved ones for granted. My only birthday wish was for my mother to be home, happy and healthy again.”

Geetanjali continued, “Just a day before my birthday, I got the best news ever—my mother was well enough to come home. When she walked through the door, it felt like all the happiness we had missed had returned. It was as if Diwali had truly come alive again, filling our home and hearts with love and warmth.”

She added, “My mother’s recovery feels like a divine blessing, a gift I will always treasure. Her return made my birthday unforgettable and reminded me of what truly matters in life. This year, I am deeply grateful for the most precious gift—my mother’s health and presence. It’s a memory I will hold close forever, reminding me to value every moment with our loved ones. They are the real blessings in our lives.”
