MUMBAI: Acting is a profession which makes the person learn a lot of new things .Shagun who plays the role of Uday in Sony Entertainment Television’s Kyun Utthe dil Chhod Ayae especially learned how to play hockey to make his character look more real. After practicing hockey for some time now he has not only aced the sport but also loves playing the same in his free time.In the current track the viewers will watch how after being resuced by Amrit and Randhir and he will go to meet Vashma anx tell her to elope with him and she will refuse . This will break Uday's heart. 

Shagun also mentioned he learned hockey from the professionals for his role as he wanted to make his role look more authentic. Hockey plays a very important part in Shagun aka Uday’s life in the show. It is shown that he wants to play hockey at the national level. He shared how punctual and hardworking were those players who taught him the game. They were always there to help me .They  coached him how to hold the hockey stick perfectly at what angle should he hit the ball.

Shagun said “ During my school time I have played many sports but when I started learning hockey for Kyun Utthe dil chhod ayae. I fell in love with this game. Sports are always a very good way of exercising . Even the players who taught me the game were very sweet. They tutored me a lot of tricks of the game.  I love this game so much that whenever i am free  i am seen playing hockey . I really want to learn it professionally as well. We cannot forget Hockey is our national sport and learning our national sport is a very proud thing for me.”
