MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television’s Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, produced by DJ’s a Creative Unit, will soon bid adieu to the viewers.
Yes, the show which stars a stellar cast including Varun Badola, Shweta Tiwari, Anjali Tatrari, Vijay Tilani among others, wrapped-up the shoot recently and the show will telecast its last episode on 19 November.
Ever since the news about the show coming to an end fans are asking if there is any possibility of season 2 in the near future.
To get the answer, we got in touch with Shaleen Malhotra who played the role of Rishi. He shared, “Well, we are obliged with the kind of love and support that we have received from the fans. I personally think that Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’s season 2 looks very difficult as the show is ending on a happy and good note. If there was an open ending then there could have been the possibilities of the second instalment. Though, even if writers and makers plan to bring the second season then I am sure the entire cast will love to be part of it again. The whole experience shooting for the show was very different and enriching.”
