Shark Tank India’s Ashneer Grover and wife Madhuri asked to Pay Rs 80 Crores as security before travelling to the US

MUMBAI : Ashneer Grover who was a shark/judge on season 1  has been in the news for various reasons. He has always been in the news even after quitting Shark Tank India and been creating some or the other controversy. Reportedly the BharatPe co-founder and his wife Madhuri Jain have now been allowed to travel to the US by the Delhi High Court but not together.

The court has now asked the couple to pay Rs 80 Crores as security by way of a property. They are also asked to submit their Emirates card before travel so that they do not visit the United Arab Emirates since they hold the Golden Visa.

Justice Subramonium Prasad has permitted Ashneer Grover to travel to America from May 26 to June 12. His wife Madhuri Jain Grover will be allowed to travel there from June 15, only after Ashneer’s return. The court has also asked the Delhi Counsel to put conditions to make sure that the Grovers return back to India.

Earlier, the Grovers had challenged the Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing’s LOC (Look out circulars) issued against them, regarding allegations of financial misconduct.

For the unversed, an FIR has been filed by The Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) against Ashneer, his wife Madhuri and his family Deepak Gupta, Suresh Jain, and Shwetank Jain for an alleged ₹81 crore fraud in December 2022.
