MUMBAI: Shehnaaz Gill’s upcoming film Ikk Kudi, which also marks her debut as a producer, beautifully captures a young woman’s journey to find the right life partner. Written and directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the film is set to hit theatres on October 31.
Originally slated for a September 19 release, the drama was postponed due to the Punjab floods. Now, as the release date approaches, Shehnaaz has found a creative way to promote her film — and simultaneously support her brother, Shehbaz Badesha, who is currently seen in Bigg Boss 19.
In a heartwarming and unique promotional appearance, Shehnaaz was spotted wearing a t-shirt featuring Shehbaz’s picture from the reality show. With Shehbaz nominated for elimination this week, it seems Shehnaaz’s gesture was not only a smart promotional move for Ikk Kudi but also a thoughtful way to rally votes and cheer for her brother.
Take a look at Shehnaaz Gill's post here:
In a recent podcast, Shehnaaz Gill spoke about her brother Shehbaz’s entry into the Bigg Boss 19 house and more. She mentioned that earlier, the makers had prepared a different script to announce Shehbaz as the wildcard, but she declined to follow the same as it portrayed Badesha in a negative light.
In the same interview, Gill added that she had prepared Badesha for facing comments about getting financial support from his sister. She mentioned that it is because of her brother that she is working in Mumbai, as he supports her a lot.
