Actress Snigdha Srivastava is enjoying ‘motherhood’ to the core!! She has literally no time to pamper herself, but she believes that she can leave anything and everything for her little two months old son, Arhaan. 

Yes, Snigdha and husband Tayyab Malik became proud parents on 26 October 2014, and are blessed with a baby boy. Their bundle of joy turned two months old few days back, and enjoyed his ‘first ever day out’ at a mall. 

Says Snigdha, “Yes, Arhaan is a happy-go-lucky child, very friendly and not at all cranky. This is the compliment that he receives from many around. We took him out for the first time over the last week, and got him lot of presents. With the Christmas ambience setting in, Arhaan had the perfect outing strolling in his pram around the mall.”

So who does Arhaan resemble? “Well, he looks more like Tayyab and less like me. But he is very creative, and has expressive eyes. He was simply a delight when we took his first video. He could not stop smiling; perhaps he has taken after me in this aspect (smiles)”, avers Snigdha.

Snigdha was playing the very significant character of Trisha in Zee TV’s Doli Armaanon Ki when she got into the family way, and had to quit the show. Ask Snigdha about missing TV and she says, “The initial days of pregnancy was very tough. Since my character in the show was such that I could not continue shooting till my sixth month, I had to opt out. But it was very depressing, as I saw the show doing so very well before my eyes. But from the time Arhaan came into my arms, things have changed. I get a feeling that I can leave anything for him. Motherhood has been really good, and I want to spend all the time with him till he is one year old. I want to be with him when he crawls over for the first time, takes his first step, speaks his first word. So acting will have to take a back seat till the time he is at least one.”
