MUMBAI: MTV shows Splitsvilla and Raodies among others give immense fame to the contestants. The contestants on the show have a hectic shoot schedule and survive on these shows without connection with the outside world but did you know that these contestants are not paid well?
In a recent interview, Harsh Arora who has been a part of MTV Splitsvilla X5 and MTV Roadies XX revealed that the contestants on Splitsvilla are paid as low as 1000 rupees. Arora further revealed the reason why he took up the show despite being paid low.

Talking to Filmy Window, Harsh revealed that he was doing better for himself when he was approached for Splitsvilla. He added that it is his mother who's keen on him doing several reality shows. He said, "My mother is very keen on me doing 'Bigg Boss' because she wants people to know my fun side."
Harsh further added, "After my stint in reality shows so far, people have made me look like I have a dual personality and that I change in front of the camera. However, that's not true. I don't hold a grudge for long and thus they take my personality traits otherwise."
