MUMBAI: The news of Shoonya Square producers Dheeraj Sarna and Ved Raj parting ways was exclusively brought to you by TellyChakkar. Ved will now manage Shoonya Square, and Dheeraj has started a new production house called Kagaz Kalam Films.

We also reported that Dheeraj is set to launch a show tentatively titled Mai Maike Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo on Sony Entertainment Television.

The show will feature Swaragini fame Namish Taneja in the lead role. Earlier, Helly Shah had been roped in, but she had to opt out due to health issues.

Our sources tell us that Srishti Jain of Meri Durga fame and Neelu Vaghela, who played Bhabho in Diya Aur Baati Hum, will join the show. Srishti will be paired opposite Namish, and Neelu will play Srishti’s mother. The daily will also feature popular Marathi actress Aditi Despande as Namish’s mother.

Actresses Dolly Chawla (Thapki Pyaar Ki), Sulbha Arya, and Divya Sehgal will also play important roles.

Neelu confirmed being part of the project. We could not reach out to Srishti and the other actors for a comment.

The cast will soon travel to Bhopal for the shoot.
