Sudha Chandran and Rakesh Paul in Rajshri's next on Sahara One

Rajshri’s show on Sahara One Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki entertained masses for a long time. Now the production house is making another show Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga for the channel. Furthermore, the latest news is that veteran actress Sudha Chandran and actor Rakesh Paul will be seen in important roles in the show. If sources are to be believed, then the soap is loosely based on the popular flick Ghar Jamai and Sudha Chandran’s character will be similar to that of Hema Malini. Sudha will play the role of an aristocratic lady Kalyani Devi. She will get her daughter’s married and make her son-in-laws ghar jamais. “I was waiting for a powerful role to make a comeback and when I heard the script of Jhilmil…I was all kicked about it. I have been out of the Hindi television industry for almost two and a half years now as I was busy working down South. Furthermore, working with Rajshri is always a nice experience for even it is a TV soap, you feel you are working in a film. The canvas is always pretty large,” says Sudha. Whereas, Rakesh Paul, who was also a part of Rajshri’s Woh Rehne Waali… will be seen as the negative lead in the show. “It’s too early to talk about it as I am yet to start shooting for Jhilmil,” Rakesh went on to say.
