It is said that our parents know our potential the best and such is definitely the case in Sumit Kaul’s case.
We hear that the actor has received the best compliment from his father after he first saw him as Justin in Ashoka (Colors).
Sumit reveals, “My father has been somewhat undecided about my career as an actor. It’s not that he’s ever opposed it but he wasn’t sure earlier. But after seeing me as Justin for the first time in Ashoka, he was thrilled. It was an extremely proud moment for him and for me as I was happy seeing him feel so proud. I remember during Laagi Tujhse Lagan though he had been happy seeing me on screen, he always felt that my unconventional looks could have been used in a more glamorous way. However, I was playing an uneducated bhai so the look was such and he wanted to see me in a larger than life character, looking illustrious which he now can with Justin. His first reaction to seeing me as Justin is a memory I will always cherish.”
We hear that the actor has been nominated for his role at the upcoming Gold Awards. Now we are sure daddy is proud!
