Sushil Kumar, the man who won Rs five crores on Sony Entertainment Television’s Kaun Banega Crorepati and later went on to bag Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors, considers himself to be really lucky.
When Sushil initially became a part of the dance reality show, he made it clear to the media as well as the judges that he hadn’t shaken a leg before. Hence it comes as a surprise when we see him getting saved repetitively on the show, while some other fellow contestants, who have performed better than him, have been voted out.
He too agrees with this as he tells us, “Others work harder than I do. I do not even understand rhythm. I memorise the steps and the lyrics of the songs that I have to perform on. But this is not the case with others. Hence, it’s obvious that the other performers are much better than I am. In fact I don’t feel I will manage to be on the show for another week.”
“The only thing that I keep doing on the sets is talk to the celebrities. As for me reaching this place is in itself an opportunity. I don’t think this will happen again. Hence, I am making the best of my time here,” he adds.
All said and done, we love his honesty!!!
