MUMBAI:  Famous for playing "Tappu" in the longest-running sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ (TMKOC), actor Bhavya Gandhi will next be featured in the hit TV show ‘Pushpa Impossible’ as a psychotic rival named Prabhaas.

Talking about the same, Bhavya said, “Stepping into the role of Prabhaas is a delightful experience for me as I am playing a negative character for the first time and this role is very different from playing the innocent Tappu from ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’.”

“Prabhaas is unpredictable and deeply troubled, with a calm exterior that masks intense inner turmoil, making him dangerously fascinating. Returning to television with such a complex character on home channel Sony SAB is incredibly exciting for me,” he added.

The most disturbing thing about Prabhaas is his calm demeanor despite his twisted nature and erratic behavior. People feel uneasy around him even though he doesn't raise his voice.

He can be charming and polite at one point, and then cruel and scathing the next. As he is unpredictable, people close to him are always on edge because they never know when his attitude may change. When Ashwin approaches him after Prabhaas makes fun of his sister Rashi, he seeks revenge.

‘Pushpa Impossible’ airs on Sony SAB.

In the meantime, 'TMKOC' stars Sunayana Fozdar as Anjali, Dilip Joshi as Jethalal, Nitish Bhaluni as Tipendra, Sachin Shroff as Taarak, Sonalika Joshi as Madhavi Aatmaram Bhide, Palak Sindhwani as Sonu, and Monaz Mevawalla as Roshan, among others.
