We will begin by wishing everyone a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Yes, today is the day of festivity but everyone pertaining to the television industry is anxiously waiting for the TAM ratings of the week 37. Here you go... Star Plus is back on the number one position with 250 GRPs. Zee, which saw a spike and bagged the number one slot on week 36 is at number two position this week with 240. Here, it is necessary to mention that Star Plus surged ahead not because it earned extra GRPs (week 36 also has 250 points), but Zee saw a slump in numbers (251 in week 36). Moving on...in an important development, Colors and Sony Entertainment Television are tied for the third position, both with 230 GRPs. Amongst shows… Diya Aur Baati Hum maintains its numero uno position with a 5.3 TVR and Balika Vadhu has again bagged the second slot with 4.7 TVR. Bade Acche Lagte Hain stands tall on number three spot with 3.9. Now, there has been a lot of buzz with Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kahan going off air on Colors. People believed low numbers can be the reason. But the fix is the show, in week 37 ratings, has earned more numbers than its other venture Kairi. Na Bole...1.8 and Kairi... 1.4. Let’s see how the channel reacts to it. Sony Entertainment Television’s new venture Honge Judaa Na Hum opened with not so inspiring numbers of 1TVR. Coming to high profile quiz reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, also saw a decline in figures. But the high-point would certainly be Life OK’s Mahadev. The show’s maha episode aired on 9 September bagged a whopping 8.2 TVR. Deserves a pat!!!
