Tarun Khanna and Divya Dutta to judge personality pageant contest, Mr. Punjab for PTC

Actor Tarun Khanna is presently on his toes, all set to judge a personality pageant contest for PTC (Punjabi Television Channel) along with beautiful Divya Dutta. Titled Mr. Punjab, the pageant will test the men participating in IQ, general knowledge, mental, physical strength. As many as 9000 people had arrived for the initial audition, from which 200 people have been short-listed. Tarun and Divya shortlisted these contestants for their skills and have now come up with the final 32. The shoot for the pageant will not begin from tomorrow (11 October) in Delhi. The show will run for nearly three months on PTC, with the winner eventually being rewarded with a cash prize, car, a lead role in a Punjabi movie etc. Mr. Punjab launches on PTC from the last week of October. When contacted, Tarun who was last seen in Colors’ Rangrasiya and Star Plus’ Mahabharat said, “Yes, I am travelling to Delhi today to kick-start the contest as one of the judges. I am looking at guys who have their roots in Punjab. I will be quizzing them on general knowledge and would want to ask them questions related to India’s recent Mars mission, PM Narendra Modi’s speech in Madison Square, the name of the PM who would be visiting India soon etc. In addition to the IQ tests, we will have various sports games, mental and physical ability tests. I want the winner to be a guy who would be aware of his Punjabi roots. If he has dashing looks to add on to it, there is nothing like it.” Way to go, Tarun!!
