The Buddy Project will always stay close to my heart - Kunal Jaisingh

The good looking and cute Kunal Jaisingh has touched millions hearts with his act as Ranveer in Channel V’s The Buddy Project (TBP). The actor who debuted in the small screen with his dumb character act in Pratigya played the suave and spoilt character of RV to the core in Buddy. Talking to Tellychakkar.com, Kunal shares, “TBP is like our baby and it is definitely sad to part ways with the show. The journey of almost two years has been a wonderful one and I am going to miss the entire cast and crew a lot. Shooting for the show has not been like work for we all used to look forward to coming on the sets and hanging out with everyone. It had been a smooth and lucky ride for me having made some really wonderful friends on the way.” So will the team be in touch now, or will they all go their separate ways? “We have developed a close emotional bond which I am sure is not going away so easily. We all are going to stay in touch and get together sometime to party hard (smiles). Fortunately not just the actors, but the producers (Sudhir and Seema Sharma) have been so very friendly with us that it’s hard to believe that we won’t meet so frequently. But nevertheless TBP and team will always be close in our hearts,” says the actor. Kunal also got a chance to show diverse emotions through his role. Mention that to him, and the young lad replies with a beam, “As I told you, I have been really lucky with my character. Ranveer had so many variations in the show where he has gone through the phase of a spoilt arrogant boy to the emotional person. Added to that his romantic and friendly nature also came to the fore.” And finally what lies ahead in future for the young boy, we ask. “Aaaah… firstly I would like to take a small break and travel somewhere. That stands top in the list (laughs). And post that I will plan to make a comeback to the screen. But yes, here I would like to thank all our viewers for supporting us all through the journey. And I promise I’ll get back soon,” avers the boy. Well Kunal, we surely hope to see you back on TV soon.
