When numbers dip, it is time for a leap!

Yes folk, this is the tried and tested formula in the TV industry. Whenever makers have felt that the show is going haywire and they need to add a masaledar twist, they have incorporated a leap in their storyline.

The custom is not new but has been going on from time eternal, oops sorry, from more than a decade when dailies like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi ruled the prime slot.

Recently, we saw a number of shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus), Jamai Raja (Zee TV), Sasural Simar Ka (Colors), Gangaa (&TV) and more going in for a time jump.

And now, it is the turn of Star Plus’ popular daily Suhani Si Ek Ladki (SSEL) to experiment with a generation leap.

The Panorama Productions’ serial that projects the society’s obsession with fair skin and judging people according to their appearances, has been receiving positive feedback from all quarters.

And now to add more tadka to the tale, the makers have decided to add a punch of leap in the track.

Shared a source, “SSEL will jump on a 15 years forward track wherein the leads Suhani (Rajshri Rani) and Yuvraj’s (Sahil Mehta) kids will be grown up. They will now fight the custom of objectifying people in terms of their colour.”

Interesting, isn’t it???

As per sources the creatives are currently finalising on the track post leap.

Producer Suzana Ghai confirmed the same but asked us to call in few days for more details.

Suhani had recently seen a five years leap also.
