MUMBAI: Bigg Boss is one of the most famous and controversial reality shows on television. The last season of the show was a huge success, and the next season is just days away from launch.
There are many names doing the rounds about potential celebrity contestants on the show. Debina Bonnerjee, Dipika Kakar, Shristy Rode, Neha Pendse, and Ridhima Pandit are some speculated participants.
As per some media reports, actress Tina Dutta will be one of the inmates along with controversial cricketer Sreesanth. This has not been confirmed yet.
Tina Dutta rose to fame with her character Ichcha in the serial Uttaran, whereas Sreesanth is one of the most controversial Indian cricketers who was booked for spot-fixing during the IPL matches in 2013. He was banned from playing for life by BCCI's disciplinary committee. He has also participated in upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi and previously been part of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
The concept of the show this time comes with a twist: there will be contestants in jodis and some will play individually. Superstar Salman Khan, who has hosted eight seasons of the show, will continue to be the host for this season too.
Bigg Boss 12 will air from 16 September, Monday–Friday at 10:30 PM and Saturday–Sunday at 9 PM.
