Just how powerful is Indian television can be judged by the fact that Kenyan Cricket authorities are calling 8 TV stars to take part in a event called Celebrity Cricket Wars which will soon be held in Nairobi (Kenya) in an attempt to promote Kenyan Cricket Council.
TV stars namely Manav Gohil, Vrajesh Hirjee, Madhura Naik, Aabhas, Sehban Azim and Hassan Zaidi among others will lead eight teams in a 10 over match. The other players in the teams will be Kenyan.
Manav confirmed the same saying, “We will travel soon but the dates are still need to be worked out.”

Madhura, who also leads a team called Top Fry Simba, said, “She is quite enthusiastic about playing”. Though she agreed she does not know how to play the game.
“I am scared that I might fling the cricket bat thinking it to be a baseball.”
Madhura will also perform at the after party. “They have given me a choreographer. I will dance to some song but it will not be an item number,” informed Madhura.
“Comedian VIP who is also a part of the squad will definitely bring the house down with his antic,” added Manav.
