MUMBAI: Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is currently one of the most popular TV soaps. With its gripping narrative, the show has managed to keep the audience hooked to the TV screens. Antagonist Komolika is an integral part of the narrative. Hina Khan was playing the character, but left midway due to her film commitments.

The actress nailed the vamp’s role of Komolika in the show and her exit left her fans disappointed. Though earlier speaking to Bombay Times Hina had revealed about coming back to the show after a break as the makers were altering her track, finally the actress has made her way out as she will now be debuting on the big screen with Vikram Bhatt's film. And now, producer Ekta Kapoor’s tweet acted as a confirmation for the same. Ekta on her Twitter handle dropped a hint of roping in the new actress for Komolika’s role. Her Tweet read, “New komo!!!?????? But whooooooooooo;)” Her post got many comments in favour of Hina Khan. Hina’s fans were seen criticizing Ekta for roping in new actress replacing Hina, and also claiming Hina to be an apt actress to play this villainous role onscreen. On the other hand, a few of them expressed their excitement by wanting to know who will be the new actress to play Komolika on the small screen.
